Yes, pickles.
We’ve been gardening for years, and for more than a decade we’ve been turning what we grow into pickles. It took a few years of tinkering to get the recipe just right, right for us and, it turns out, right for a lot of other people who like a good crunch. (They really are a big dill.)
Meet Little Bear and Bunny Bear
The name isn’t a marketing idea. It’s real life. Little Bear is what I’ve been called my whole life. Bunny Bear is what I started calling my wife because of all the hopping around she does, and it stuck.
Then a Tree Fell on the House
A few years back, we made a big push to pay off our house early. Every spare dime went straight to the principal, and we did it. Two weeks later, a tree fell on it. No kidding. We hadn’t even received the letter from the bank saying the mortgage was paid in full.Life happens, so we worked through it, and we stayed debt-free for a full year. Then we decided we needed something, a goal. Maybe even an adventure.
Time to Start Having a Little Fun
So we went looking and found a little piece of mountain property in the north Georgia mountains. We’ve always loved the outdoors, but this land gives us the kind of freedom you dream about as a kid.
